Privacy Policy — The Mindfulness Game
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Who we are
The Mindfulness Game is provided by Tjingmackan AB, Swedish organisation number 559483-3815, Sehlstedtsgatan 3c, 115 28 Stockholm, Sweden. We are the controller of personal data we process as described below.
Contact us about privacy or support at support@mindfulnessgame.com.
Scope
This policy covers the Apple Watch app and communications with us about it. It does not describe data collected by a separate website, Apple, or your email provider under their own privacy policies.
Data used by the app
The app works without an account. Its animations, music and space facts are included in the app and can be used offline after installation. The app does not send your gameplay or settings to us or to an app-operated server.
The app stores your music-volume preference on your device so it can remember your choice. Touch interactions and scene state are processed on the device to operate the game. The app uses the language settings supplied by watchOS to display available translations.
The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, uses no advertising identifiers, and does not track you across apps or websites. It does not access HealthKit, health records, location, contacts, photos, the camera or microphone. It does not collect payment-card details. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising, profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
You can change the volume in the app. Removing the app and its local data removes its saved preference from the device; device backups or restoration may retain or restore a copy under Apple's settings and policies. We cannot remotely access or erase these local settings.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and attachments. These may include device details, screenshots or purchase information you choose to send. Please send only information needed for your request and avoid sending health information, passwords or full payment-card details.
We use this information to answer you, resolve app problems and handle complaints or privacy requests. Providing it is voluntary, but we may be unable to investigate a particular problem without relevant details.
Our legal bases are performing our contract with you where necessary for purchase-related support; our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, maintaining the app and establishing or defending claims; and compliance with legal obligations where applicable. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider your rights and reasonable expectations.
We keep correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request and handle relevant follow-up. Records needed for an ongoing dispute, applicable limitation period or mandatory accounting obligation are retained for that purpose and deleted when that need ends. We do not retain ordinary correspondence indefinitely merely because you contacted us.
Apple purchases and diagnostics
Apple handles App Store accounts, payments, downloads and any platform refund process. Apple processes information under its own policies. We do not receive your payment-card information from an App Store purchase.
Apple may make sales reports, aggregated app statistics and diagnostic reports available to us, depending on the report, platform settings and your sharing choices. This is separate from tracking embedded in the app. If we receive diagnostic information that constitutes personal data, we use it only as needed to investigate faults and improve reliability, on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining a functioning app. We retain it only while needed for that purpose or a related legal obligation or claim. We do not try to identify users from aggregated reports.
See Apple's Privacy Policy and Device Analytics & Privacy. You can manage diagnostic-sharing choices in your Apple device settings.
Access, service providers and security
Access to personal correspondence is limited to people who need it for support or company administration. Providers used to deliver and store email or other necessary business records process relevant information on our behalf under appropriate contractual protections. We may disclose necessary information to professional advisers, authorities or courts where required by law or necessary for a legal claim. We do not share support information with advertisers.
The app itself does not transfer gameplay data internationally. If our handling of support correspondence involves a transfer of personal data outside the EEA, we must ensure a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or European Commission standard contractual clauses with any necessary additional safeguards. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data and how to obtain a copy.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information, including limiting access. No electronic communication or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
The same offline, account-free design applies to children. The app has no chat, public profiles or advertising and does not ask children to submit personal information. A parent or guardian should handle purchases and support enquiries where appropriate. If a child sends unnecessary personal information to support, contact us so we can remove it unless retention is legally necessary.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions; for example, we may need to retain records required by law.
Email support@mindfulnessgame.com to exercise your rights. We may request proportionate information to verify identity. We normally respond within one month; if the law permits an extension, we will explain it within that period. Requests are normally free of charge.
You may complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or another competent supervisory authority, including in the country where you live or work. You do not have to contact us first.
Changes
We will update this policy if our practices change and show the revision date above. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate accessible channel before the new processing begins, and any legally required consent will be obtained. Updating this policy does not itself authorise new processing or remove your rights.
